Lucid’s mattresses are designed to increase airflow within the mattress. This helps keep dust mites and mildew away while keeping you dry and cool while sleeping. The mattresses are shipped directly to the customer and are easy to set up by simply opening the package and allowing it to expand.

Lucid Mattress FAQ
If there is one thing we know for sure, it’s that each person has his or her unique sleep style. Many online mattress companies offer just one mattress that they claim is right for everyone. But at Lucid, we quickly realized that offering one or two mattresses is completely insufficient. And ultimately that’s what sets Lucid apart: choices.
In terms of edge support, the Lucid Memory Foam Hybrid is okay—good, but not great. It pretty much has the same rating as a lot of these budget mattresses.
All Lucid memory foam mattresses have undergone analysis by an independent, accredited testing laboratory to ensure they meet the CertiPUR-US standards. Certified foams are ensured to preserve indoor air quality, and are made without the use of ozone depleters, harmful flame retardants, formaldehyde, or phthalates.
What kind of frame should I put my mattress on? Any base that provides substantial support and ventilation will work great. We recommend using a box spring, platform, metal grid, slatted base with slats no wider than 3-inches apart, or an adjustable base.
It is very firm, and hands down the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. You do not sink into it, like memory foam, but rather float on top of it as it cradles your joints in a very supportive manner. Even if the mattress only lasts us 2 years, it is worth the price and would be worth the replacement cost.
